Rotorua affordable family fun
Diversion Maze has long been an icon of Rotorua. The maze was originally built in 1982. We took over in November 2018 and renovated and added a petting zoo for the kids, and coffee and treats for the grown ups.
We offer a great selection of NZ made snacks, ice creams and cold drinks. Barista made coffee on site also. Big range of courtyard games to keep the family entertained. Bring a picnic and stay all day. Something for all ages. We also have a birthday parties and event area coming soon.

Round up the kids for a fun filled family outing
Round up the kids for a fantastic family outing to the Diversion Maze Park and Petting Zoo! Our 1.7km wooden Maze is a perfect way for the kids to burn off some steam! The kids will absolutely love meeting the friendly animals at our petting zoo; it’s home to our cheeky goat, 2 cute Kune Kune pigs, 3 ducks and Flemish giant rabbits!! We also have a stunning courtyard that is perfect for picnics, playing lawn games, or simply relaxing and watching the kids having fun.
